As any of you know who have seen my posts, my father was Capt Joseph J. Conley, the Group Gunnery Officer.  Well, my oldest son, his grandson, Major Paul Finfrock, US Army, Special Forces/Special Operations, will be deploying on November 19 for the FOURTH time since 9-11.  First deployment was to Afghanistan and the next two were to Iraq.  He is going back to Iraq.

Please keep him, all the others deployed and all their families in your prayers.

Thanks,
Valerie Conley McAlister

Valerie,

I think I can safely say that all veterans are very aware of those who are now in harms way and have a bound with them.  We frequently remember them in church in our silent prayers and belive in the reason they are deployed at this time. We are not fighting the same time of war that we did during WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

I would be glad to remember your son in my prayers.

Valerie,
I was a gunnery instructor in the 401st and your father was the officer in charge of gunnery training when I joined the group. He always treated us with respect and all of us respected him as a man and officer. Having served in WW2 and Korea I can appreciate your concern for your son.My support for him (not the war) is there and I hope he comes through his assignments successfully and with my prayers and support.
