Crew status of 615th "Flying Jenny" - piloted by W.F. Grimm

My father is Sgt. R.L. Wheeler, tail gunner of the 615th's "Flying Jenny". I am interested in finding the status of his air crew. They are as follows: W.F. Grimm; E.R. Child; W.C. McMullen; R.G. Burns; O.J. Kressler Jr.; T.J. Brown Jr.; D.P. Dunn and W.M. Duke. When I next visit with my father, I will see what he can contribute to this great web site. I believe he has some crew photos and perhaps some other information/stories he may want to share.

J. Wheeler, the only one of the Grimm crew that is a member of the 401st Bomb Group Association is Eldon Child. Eldon lives at 1134 E.900 S Unit 16 St GEORGE,uTAH. iF YOU scroll down the web site under Membership...you will find an Application for your dad to join the Association. He will get our quarterly Newsletter for news about our doings. A Reunionin August 2004 in Boston.Etc. And if you can furnish me with the FIRST names and possibly Home Towns of the other crew members I'll search for them to join the best damn outfit in the USAAF.Thanks.

I appreciate the update. I will share the information with my father when I next see him. I suspect he will be interested in a 401st assoc. membership. He is currently active in a WWII flyer club in Rockford, IL.
