In the book, ‘We Pulled Together…and Won!’ BG Bowman honored the work of the Red Cross and wrote a letter of thanks on behalf all members of the 401st to Julia Davignon of Lancaster, CA. One of the many Red Cross volunteer’s at Deenethorpe. Julia submitted his letter for publication and appears on page141
