615th in Lewistown ?

I am doing a major researching project in conjunction with a few others in Montana of those units that were trained in Lewistown, Montana. I was given the lead the 615th had spent some time there in Lewistown. We are trying preserve all the historical information we can for our airfield and hopefully start a museum there to the units we trained. I would appreciate any help that could be given. I am planning on writing a book on the information I put together.

See my letters 9/10/02 and around dates there.....looking for more info on my father---don't know right now if he in fact trained in Montana. One of the responses to my notes said "maybe"

Hi, How is your project on Lewistown going? My uncle Lt James W Lynch was stationed in Lewistown in July & Aug of 1943. His B-17F crashed in a training mission on Aug 24, 1943. There were 3 other planes on that traning mission. I would appreciate any information on my uncle, the plane crash or the 3 other planes.
