To all 8th Air Force Veterans, please accept my thanks and appreciation for the sacrifices you, your families and your generation made to protect the freedoms we now enjoy. I am a Marine Vietnam Veteran, and the son of a 10th Air Force veteran that served in CBI. You should all know that every year I speak to college students on the subject of Vietnam, but before I begin, I always spend some time talking about the real defenders of freedom, the WWII veterans, and especially the 8th Air Force.
God bless all of you. I, and thousands like me, will miss you and your generation as we move forward into terrible dangerous times.
