I saw a reference to a book called "Deenethorpe Diary" by Vic Maslen. Also, on Amazon I've found a book called "401st Bomb Group: 'the Best Damn Outfit in the Usaaf'".

My bookshelf already contains the yearbook, I guess you'd call it, the one published in about '46. Is the "401st" book above a reprint of that?

I'm looking for a copy of the "Deenethorpe Diary", and of the 401st book as well, if it's not a reprint of the "yearbook". Amazon is trying to find that one used, but I'm not holding my breath.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of either book?

Thanks. :)

On e-bay, it's going to be hard to tell if it's an original or reprint of the blue book.  The Deenethorpe Diary written by Vic Maslen is one of several booklet volumes by him that contain a lot of info on the 401st.  Not all are numbered. I think I have them all.  I got mine from Ray Corby in England.  They aren't really published and available anywhere.
