Summary: The 8th Air Force attacked tactical targets in France on this day. The 401st put up two boxes of 12 aircraft each. Both boxes encountered clouds en route and had difficulty finding the IP, but the bomb runs were made through haze with good results. One enemy Me-110 was observed but did not attack the Group. The flak encountered was meager and inaccurate and caused no battle damage.
